Obituary of Kimberly Kay Hendrix Thomas

Funeral services for Kimberly Hendrix Thomas, age 41 of Columbia will be held 2 PM Sunday, October 6, 2019 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Rankin officiating. Interment will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery with services under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Kimberly Hendrix Thomas was born on February 1, 1978 in Lafayette, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Elijah Dale Hendrix and Debra Kay Ledbetter, and she passed from this life on October 3, 2019 at her residence in Columbia following an extended illness. Kimberly was a woman that loved sports, her daughters and was so proud of and loved her grandson, T.K. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandparents: Hiram and Bobbye Hendrix and Kline and Bonnie Ledbetter and her uncle, Tommy Hendrix.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Lexie Hendrix (Teagan) of Jonesboro, LA and  Aliah Thomas of Columbia; her grandson, TK, her father, Dale "Breeze" Hendrix and his wife, Sheila and her mother, Debbie Ledbetter all of Columbia; her brother, Shane Hendrix of Grayson; her sister, Chelsea Kay Hitt and husband, Devon Tyler Hitt of Baton Rouge and numerous uncles and aunts, cousins and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shawn Derrick Scott, Cole Hendrix, Cameron Hendrix, T. G. Hendrix, Drew Frazier and Brad Meredith. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Ledbetter, Ronnie Ledbetter, Gunny Hendrix and Ricky Ratcliff.
