Obituary of Teresa Housley

Teresa Housley, age 86 of Monroe, Louisiana passed away December 1, 2019 at Ouachita Healthcare and Rehab Center in Monroe after a lengthy illness. Teresa was born March 30, 1933 at Wisner, Louisiana to the union of her parents, John Louis Housley and Laura Boseman Housley.

Theresa worked for many years in the customer service department at Belk. She enjoyed cooking and reading. She loved her church and was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Monroe before her health prevented her from attending. She was preceded in death by her parents and numerous siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Warren Talmadge Stutts (Pam) and Wayne Thomas Stutts; grandchildren: Jason Stutts (Tara), Casey Stutts (Nikkii) and Wade Stutts (Jen); great-grandchildren: Cason Stutts, Landry Stutts, Cameron Stutts and Hayden Stutts; brother, John L. Housley (Terri) and sister, Theo Mae Hargrove.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Friday, December 6, 2019 at Riser and Funeral Home, Columbia, Louisiana. The family has lovingly chosen cremation to respect the wishes of Teresa. They will have a private service to scatter her ashes at a later date.
