Memorial services for Steve Humphries, age 63 of Grayson will be held 6:00 PM Friday December 6, 2019 from the Olla chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Denver McBroom and Rev. Todd Whittington officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Steve Humphries was born on December 21, 1955 to the union of George and  Mavis Humphries and passed from this life on December 3, 2019 at LSU Shreveport.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Glen Humphries and Jeff Humphries and great-nephew, Kohen Lane Humphries.

Steve loved his family and friends, grandbabies, the outdoors, mowing the pasture, jeep riding and giving Veter a hard time.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Laveta Shelton Humphries; son, Lance Humphries (Miranda); daughter, Tera Humphries (Lisa) and Debbie Lee who was just like a daughter to him; brothers: George Humphries (Sheran), Larry Humphries (Mary),  Tracy Humphries (Kathy); grandchildren: Ashton Humphries (Maycie) and Brayden Lee; step-grandchildren: Tyler Crochet (Colleen), Brian Melancon, Juliann Howard, Emily Abels and Sawyer Elliott; great-grandchildren: Holden and Waylon Humphries and numerous nieces and nephews.
