Obituary of Billie Sue Jackson

Funeral services for Billie Sue Jackson, aged 73, will be Saturday, December 14th, 2019 at 10 AM in the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA. Visitation will be Friday, December 13th, 2019 from 4 PM until 7 PM and again Saturday from 9AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery. Rev. Hulen Warren will officiate.

Billie Sue was born in Hodge, LA on July 21st,1946 to the union of her parents, Dwight and Marie Vines, and passed from this life on December 11th, 2019 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA following an extended illness. She was a very sweet lady, who enjoyed playing bingo, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hartford Jackson; brother, Dwight Delbert Vines and sisters: Audrey Vines and Judith Foster.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Melissa Meredith and Kate Jackson; her grandchildren: Rebecca Rentz (Daniel), Tiffany Wells (Clifton) and Michael Meredith; her great-grandchildren: Kenlee Rentz and Oliver Rentz; her brother, Bo Vines and her sisters: Martha Henderson, Beverly Goodrich, Norma Head, Donna Vines and Margie Humphries.

Pallbearers will be Scott Meredith, Jarrod Wallace, Drew Keahey, Wes Burns, Randy Rentz, and Mike Estes. Honorary Pallbearers are Wilbur Rucker and Buddy Gill.
