Obituary of Eugene Victor Puckett, Jr.

Funeral services for Eugene Victor Puckett, Jr., age 60 of Winnsboro will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA with Bro. Rod Shipp officiating. Interment will follow at Hebert Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 5 PM until 8 PM.

Eugene Victor Puckett, Jr. was born June 11, 1959 in Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, Eugene Victor Puckett, Sr. and Lena Evelyn Curry Puckett. He passed from this life on December 13, 2019 in Winnsboro, LA after a brief illness. Vic, as he was known by friends and family, was preceded in death by his parents; his infant sister, Gene Margaret Puckett and his brother-in-law, Douglas “Buzzy” May.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Glenda May; his nieces: Kelley May and Kim May Bryant (Bryan); great-nieces: Mackenzie Wise and Jordan Hatten (Dakota); great-nephew, Hunter Wise and great-great-nieces: Lakynn and Everly Hatten.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Bryant, Hunter Wise, Billy McClanahan, John McKeithen, Jeff McKeithen and Donald Oliveaux.
