Obituary of Barbara Louise Goade

Funeral services for Barbara Louise Goade, age 79 will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 28, 2019 from the sanctuary of Standard Baptist Church, Olla, Louisiana with Bro. Denver McBroom officiating. Interment will follow at Olla Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5 PM until 7 PM Friday, December 27, 2019 at the church. Barbara Louise Goade was born on November 17, 1940 at Grayson, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Emsley Masters and Ovis Young Masters and she passed from this life to her heavenly home on December 25, 2019 in Tyler, Texas. Louise was a member of Standard Baptist Church for most of her life. Declining health in her later years prevented her from attending but she still had a love for her church. She was an active member of the Olla Kiwanis Club in her younger years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bobby Goade and her brother, Roy Masters. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, William Goade (Ann); her daughter, Teresa Wood (Jeffrey); brother, Billy Masters (Georgia); sister-in-law, Bert Masters; grandchildren: Nathan Wood, Alex Wood, Lawrence Goade, Rachel Goade, and Gracie Goade, as well as one great-granddaughter, Gracelynn Wood. Serving as pallbearers will be Heath Lee, Braden Lee, Nathan Wood, Alex Wood, Lawrence Goade, Gary Taylor, Angelo Benandi and Michael Kerry.
