I am Freddie's first cousin Larry Wilson. Freddie is 3 years older than me so we didn't really grow up together. I do recall the times we would visit the Walker family when Uncle Willie had a farm out of Rayville, La. The boys, including Freddie, would play war using corncobs as our ammunition.!
As an Army veteran I want to pay tribute to Freddie's Vietnam service in the U.S. Navy. I stand and salute him for his service to our country.
