Obituary of Pamela Jean Walker

Pamela Jean Carter Walker, age 67 of Vixen, Louisiana was born June 29, 1952 at Champaign, Illinois and she passed from this life, December 28, 2019 at Vixen. She was the daughter of Earl K. Carter and Jeanneanne McRae Poore. Pamela worked for many years as a sales associate at Walmart. She loved to deer hunt. Her family was her top priority and taking care of them was what she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Wesley Todd Walker. Her husband, Freddie Houston Walker passed away just two days after her. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Anthony Houston Walker (Carietta) and Todd Wesley Walker; daughter, Regina Ann Martien (Benjamin Jacob); father, Wilbur A. Poore, Jr.; grandchildren: William Ashton Miller, Michael Lane Walker, Brittany Ann Miller, Anna Belle Walker, Kensley Paige Walker, Katelyn Elizabeth Loftin, Nathan Edward Crawford, Brittney Renee Brewer, Kennedy Kate Martien and Leah Grace Martien; great-granddaughters: Elizabeth Renee Miller and Victoria Lynn Brewer; brothers: Kenneth LaVelle Carter, Charlie Carter, Wilbur Acton Poore III and Bruce Poore; sisters: Teresa Lynn Redmond, Cindy Robare and Sue Clingen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. To honor her wishes, the family lovingly chose cremation. They will have a visitation for family and friends from 3 PM until 5 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, Louisiana.
