Obituary of Ruby Jean Poole Dannehl
Funeral services for Ruby Jean Poole Dannehl age 65 of Enterprise will be held 2:00 PM Thursday January 2, 2020 from the sanctuary of Rosefield Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosefield Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 1, 2020 at the church from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Ruby Jean Poole Dannehl was born on April 8, 1954 at Jena, LA to the union of her parents Cary Surveal Poole and Octavia Whitehead Poole and she passed from this life on Tuesday December 31, 2019 at the Columns Nursing Facility in Jonesville following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: “Dee” Powell, Linda Haye, and Elaine Poole; her brother-in-law: Clifford Poole ; her brother: Wayne Poole and sister-in-law Donna Nell Poole and her great niece : Willow Michelle Westbrook. To know Ruby was to love her. She loved to cook for her family and was truly a help mate to her husband.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband ; Ricky L. Dannehl of Enterprise, her sister: Reba Randall and husband Thad of Aimwell. LA; her brother: Donald Dean Poole and wife Mary Ann of Rosefield; and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members and a special friend to Ruby and Ricky, R. E. McGuffee.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Poole, Kerry Poole, Sean Poole, Bubba Lloyd, Jason Braddock and Timothy McKee.
