Obituary of Janice Marie Frederick

A mass of Christian Burial for Janice Marie Frederick, age 74 of Columbia will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, February 3, 2020 at the St. Johns Roman Catholic Church in Columbia with Father Dale Meade officiating. Interment will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery with services under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation with Rosary will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Riser & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Janice Marie Becky Frederick was born on April 12, 1945 at Monroe, LA to the union of her parents, Dennis Becky and Johnnie Dunlap Becky and she passed from this life suddenly on January 31, 2020 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. Janice worked for many years as an X-Ray technician in the medical field before returning to Caldwell Parish where she and her husband, Charles made their home. To know Janice was to completely love her as she warmed any room she walked into. Of her kind perhaps we will never see again. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her beloved son, Charles Xavier “Rick” Frederick, IV. She was a member of the St. Marys Roman Catholic Church in Winnsboro. Left to cherish a life time of memories are her husband, Charles Frederick, III; her son, Chris Frederick (Melissa); her twin daughters: Dawn Maxwell (Clay) and Denise Frederick; her precious grandchildren: Jacey Maxwell, Abbie Maxwell, Jessica Walker, Joshua Frederick, Hunter Murphy and Tristen Frederick and her great-grandchildren: Emma Frederick, Lily Frederick and Madeline Frederick.
