Obituary of Ashton Dade McMullen

Funeral services for Ashton Dade McMullen, age 21 of Grayson will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from the sanctuary of Pine Grove Apostolic Church with Rev. Johnny Barnhill and Rev. Heath Barnhill officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service. Dade McMullen was born on July 31, 1998 at Monroe,LA and passed from this life on Friday, February 21, 2020 at his residence after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Gale Bailes, Willard McMullen and Ethel Oxner McMullen; his uncle: Jim McMullen and great-uncle Joe Strange. Dade was an avid outdoorsman and all throughout his life he was instilled with a very hard and sincere work ethic. He loved horse back riding and loved to fish. Left to cherish his precious memory is his mother, Tori Bailes of Grayson; his sister, Michaela Pruett (Trent) of Grayson; his nephew, Waylon Pruett; his grandmother, Glenda Bailes of Grayson; his great-aunt, Sue Strange of Grayson and a host of cousins and other family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Dalton Denison, Jayden Harris, Orren McMillon, Micah McMillon, Cody Bailes and Brannon Bailes. Honorary pallbearers include Destin Duke and Tristian Boyd.
