Obituary of Stephanie Jane Kirby

Graveside funeral services for Stephanie Jane Kirby will be held at 10 AM, Monday, May 11, 2020 at Little Star Cemetery, Kelly, Louisiana under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia. Stephanie was born in Monroe, Louisiana on August 15, 1987 to the union of her parents, Johnny Earnest Kirby and Donna Jones Kirby, and she passed from this life May 7, 2020. Because of her sweet and caring personality, Stephanie was loved by all who knew her. She loved people and enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed working at Pearl and Sid's and delighted in seeing her regular customers and friends who came into the store. Her life revolved around her children whom she loved and adored. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, George and Bobbie Kirby and maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Jones. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Johnny Earnest Kirby and Donna Jones Kirby; her children: Morgan Lashea Kirby and Joshua Michael Haydel; her fiancé, Mickey Caraway; sister, Shirley Kirby; brothers: Kevin Jones, Joshua Kirby and Danny Lee Pauley (Jessie); as well as numerous members of extended family. Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Caraway, Danny Caraway, Paul Caraway, Marion Tarver, Nathan Culp, Sierra Dennett and Will Thomas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Riser Funeral Home to help defray expenses associated with the funeral.
