Obituary of Rose O'lita Watts Reitzell

Rose O'lita Watts Reitzell, 94, of West Monroe, formerly of Columbia, was born November 17, 1925 to the union of her parents, Van B. and Rosa Meredith Watts. She passed from this life on May 19, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Reitzell, and her son-in-law, Clayton White, Jr. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Kay Reitzell White and Karyn Reitzell Wise (Darryl); her grandchildren: Miranda R. Crowell and Charles Wise, and her special companion, Issy the cat. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Columbia Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Louisiana, with Patricia Woodard officiating. Visitation will be in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia, beginning at 9 a.m. The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice and the sitters for the wonderful care provided to our sweet mother and grandmother.
