Obituary of William Russell Hughes

Funeral services for William Russell Hughes, age 62, of Bosco will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from the sanctuary of Bosco Baptist Church with Rev. Marcelle Ronqulle officiating. Interment will follow in the Bosco Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Noon at the church. William Russell Hughes was born on September 25, 1957 at Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, William Sonny Hughes and Marjorie Evelyn Smith Hughes and he went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 29, 2020 following an extended illness. Russell was a loving son and had a special love for his mother. He was preceded in death by his father William Sonny Hughes. He worked for Mid South Extrusion in Monroe, LA. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Evelyn Hughes, Bosco, LA; two daughters: Amanda Hughes of Louisiana and Branda St. Claya of Florida; two brothers: Anthony Wayne Hughes (Wendy) of Abita Springs, Louisiana and Franklin Earl Hughes, Magee, Mississippi. He is loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Chase Evens, James Hilburn, Mark Brock, Ron Turner, Chris Smith and Phillip Oliveaux.
