Obituary of Patricia Ann Rieger

Patricia Ann Rieger, age 73, of Calhoun, Louisiana, went home to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, on June 14, 2020, surrounded by her family. Pat was a devout Christian, a godly wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. H.L. Hanna, sister, Melba Keele and husband, Jim, and brother-in-law, Cowboy Alsup. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Dale Rieger, of Calhoun; her four daughters: Tambre Lee of Milton, Florida, Rachel Phillips and husband, Brad, of Calhoun, Jennifer Hintson and husband, John, of Mountain View , AR, and Sherri Johnson of Farmerville, LA; sisters: Doris Alsup of Maple, TX and Dolores Cheatwood and husband, Gary of Cuthand, TX; 9 grandchildren: Brent, Brandon, Bryson, Brylee, Jessika, Jerrika, PJ, Shannon, and Billy; 5 great-grandchildren: Bralynn, Kylee, Cecilia, Theo, and Aurora; a host of beloved nieces and nephews, as well as the extended Rieger family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, June 15, 2020 at Bethel Assembly of God, Monroe, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Bethel Assembly of God, 4813 Hadley Street, Monroe, Louisiana, with Rev. B.F. Sellers and Rev. Artie Beebe officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral, Columbia, LA. Those serving as pallbearers are Billy Sellers, Joe Sellers, Mike Duke, Richard Gardner, Tommy Cardin, and Steve Kelley. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons Brent, Brandon, and Bryson Ingles, John Hintson III, and Billy Johnson III. The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful staff of Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care.
