Obituary of Curtis Bryan Lindsey

Funeral services for Curtis Bryan Lindsey, age 40 of Urania will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 4, 2020 from the sanctuary of Urania Pentecostal Church located at 15930 U S Highway 165 in Urania. Rev. Clay Hutto will be officiating and Rev. E. R. Johnson will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be on Friday, at the church, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will follow the service in the Urania Cemetery with services under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia and Olla. Curtis Bryan Lindsey was born on March 28, 1980 in Columbia and passed from this life on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at a residence in Winnfield following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Tressie and Louie Lindsey. Curtis attended church at Urania Pentecostal Church. He loved his family and was a people person always engaging in conversation with anyone he met. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kay Lindsey of Urania; his son, Zachary Lindsey; his daughter, Makayla Lindsey both of Calhoun; his brother, Kenneth Woodruff, as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Brown, Steven Callendar, Michael Callendar, John McCoy, Eric Finch and Jason Carraway. Honorary pallbearers include Jeffery Cockerham and Jeffery Smith.
