Obituary of Melissa Elaine McLain Frederick

Funeral services fopr Melissa Elaine McLain Frederick age 41 of Monroe will be held 10:00 AM Monday July 27, 2020 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Autrey officiating. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Cemetery west of Columbia. Visitation will be on Sunday July 26, 2020 at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Melissa Elaine McLain Frederick was born on February 1. 1979 in Columbia to the union of her loving parents, James Daniel McLain and Sharon Elaine Autrey McLain; and she passed from this life on July 23, 2020 at her residence in Monroe. Melissa was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and was also a licensed cosmetologist. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was also a member of the Living Church of God. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Jan Becky Frederick and by her paternal grandparents: J.D. & Gladys McLain. Left to cherish her sweet memory is her husband Chris Alexander Frederick of Monroe, her sons: Hunter Bailey Frederick & fiancee' Rebekah Brooks, Joshua Frederick (Ashley) of Columbia and Tristen Frederick of Mouissri ; her daughter: Jessica Frederick Walker (Donovan) of Columbia; her parents; Danny & Sharon McLain of Columbia; two brothers: Dennis McLain (Angela) of Columbia and Brandon Michael McLain of Columbia; two sisters: Angela Leann Seay (Mark) of Mississippi and Brandy Mills (David) of Columbia ; her beloved grandchildren Emma, Lillian and Madelyn and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved with all her heart.
