Obituary of Robin Keith McClanahan

Robin Keith McClanahan was born in Columbia February 7, 1960 to the union of his parents, Isaac and Dora Escalon McClanahan. He passed from this life July 29, 2020 at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe following an illness. Robin was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert, Louisiana. He was a carpenter for many years, and enjoyed working with his hands. He loved to hunt, fish, and help others, but most of all, he loved the Lord. Preceding him in death are his parents, and his ex-wife Virginia. Left to cherish his memory are his son: Jason McClanahan; his daughter: Deshone McClanahan; his grandchildren: Dayton, Matthew, Destiny, Jordan, Brody, and Bailey; his brother: Billy McClanahan; his sister: Shirley Hall (Bill); and his close friends: Mike Fontenot, and Russell Shoat. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at the church Monday, August 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Billy McClanahan officiating. Pallbearers will be Russell Shoats, Mike Fontenot, Justin Hall, John Hall, Jason McClanahan, Wade Escalon, Kevin Floyd, and Billy McClanahan. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
