Obituary of Timothy Glenn Hitt

Timothy Glenn Hitt was born on December 28, 1962 at Monroe, LA to the union of his beloved parents Dick Sturdivant Hitt and Opal Levadis Kraft Hitt and passed from this life on October 1, 2020 at his residence in Grayson. Tim was preceded in death by his father . He was a pipeline surveyor and loved his job. He loved the great outdoors. Tim had a huge heart and gave of himself to anyone in need . He loved kids and loved his family but he also enjoyed his alone time. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved mother Opal Kraft Hitt of Grayson; three brothers: Dick Hitt, Rusty Hitt, and Todd Hitt (Jenny); three sisters: Vicki Jordan (Jack), Sunny Williams and Ashley Coates (Stacy); he also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews including niece Lacie Meredith (Sedric) of Columbia. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home.
