Obituary of Robert Ray Hearn

Robert Ray Hearn was born on December 18, 1958 in Monroe, LA to Nathan Hearn, Jr. and Eula May Hearn and he passed from this life on October 16, 2020. Robert served his country honorably as a soldier in the United States Army. During an assignment to Stuttgart, Germany, where he met Ulla, whom he then married and spent twenty nine years sharing his life with. For the bulk of his adult life, Robert worked as a logger. Outside of work, Robert was a member and deacon of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and loved all things outdoors especially fishing, barbequing, hunting, working with his hands, he loved to read and watching westerns. He is preceded in death by his father, Nathan Hearn, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Eula May Hearn; his wife, Ulla Hearn; two sons: Jeremy Seckinger (Tomeka) and Jerome Hearn; two daughters: Jasmine Hearn and Sheila Seckinger; his brother, Nathaniel Hearn and his two sisters: Sheila Ann Hearn Roberts and Veronica Hearn, as well as, a host of grandchildren.
