I have many, many fond memories created while working with Virginia at the Louisiana Art & Folk Festival. Not only were she and her family shining stars in the Folkways area, but she contributed greatly to the overall operation of the Festival. When the Martin Homeplace was opened in 1993, her calm, sweet disposition made it a welcoming place for locals as well as outside visitors. Thanks to all the Roberts family for the part that you have played in making Caldwell Parish a better place to live, work and visit!!
