Obituary of Huey Long DeVille

Huey Long DeVille age 91 of Columbia was born on October 8, 1929 at Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, Berwick DeVille and Lucille Roberts DeVille and he passed from this life on November 10, 2020 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Rachel Wheat DeVille and his son-in-law: Joseph Valdez. Mr. Deville served in the United States Army Air Corp and he worked hard all his life to provide for his family that he loved dearly. He loved to travel and never met a stranger. Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are two sons: Robert DeVille and Gerard St. Pierre; two daughters: Denise DeVille Doherty (Ray) and Angela Valdez; two brothers: Don DeVille (Billie) and Larry DeVille (Renee); and his sister: Glenda McGuffee (Jimmy); and his grandchildren: Everett DeVille, Melissa Schmidt, Daniel Valdez and Monica Elavgak (David). Due to the present outbreak of Covid 19 a memorial service will be held at a later time.
