Obituary of LaWana Kay Cowart

LaWana Kay Cowart, age 69, was born August 28, 1951 in Columbia, LA to the union of her parents, Lewis Kennedy and Jewel Parrish Kennedy. She passed from this life peacefully at home December 1, 2020. LaWana was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lewis; sister, Janice, and a nephew, Billy. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Larry Scott White and wife, Lisa; grandson, Jonathon White, and her great-grandchildren: Brylon, Kyler, Weston, and Remi. Lawana leaves behind a very special niece, Lisa Rogers. LaWana loved painting, crafting, spending time with her grandbabies and her dog "Missy". A memorial service will be held at a later time.
