Obituary of Mary Diana Spain

Mary Diana Spain age 45 of Columbia was born on June 4, 1975 in Stephens, Texas to the union of her parents, Mack Allen Spain, and Diana Mae Watson Spain. She passed from this life on December 11, 2020 at the Christus St Francis Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Mack Allen Spain, II. Mary was a loving daughter, wife, mother and good friend to all. She loved her family, her fur babies, and plants and music. She attended Hebert Community Church. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be sorely missed. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Christopher Barnett of Columbia; her spouse, Kelly Nugent of Columbia; two brothers: Kirk Gayton and Roy Spain both of Texas; two sisters, Sarah McClelland and Mackie Sue Spain both of Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members. The family will have a celebration of life at a later time.
