Obituary of Bobby Joe Beckley

Funeral services for Bobby Joe Beckley, age 73 of Trout, LA will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 31, 2020 from the sanctuary of The Pentecostal Church, Clarks, LA with Rev. Jeff Masters officiating. Interment will follow in the Squires Cemetery at Summerville with services under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will begin at the church at 8:00 AM prior to the service. Bobby was born on January 22, 1947 at Monroe, LA to his parents, James Henry Beckley and Nancy Lucille Finley Beckley and passed from this life on Monday December 28, 2020 at the La Salle General Hospital in Jena following an extended illness. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, by seven brothers and one sister. He loved to fish and hunt, loved gardening and loved watching westerns on tv. Survivors include his wife, Sissy Beckley; his sons: Joey Beckley, Joshua Beckley (Alyssa Maloney) and Robert “Bubba” Beckley; two daughters: Jana Hudson (Travis) and Bonnie “Puddin” Beckley; his brother, Jackie Beckley; his sisters: Nancy Nugent, Sue Orr (Keith) and Mary Kilcrease; his grandchildren: Brandon “Boo Boo Bear” Beckley, Emily Hudson, Brayden Hudson, Allison Prudhome, Autumn Beckley, and Fontana Walia (Wasu); and his great-grandchild, Samar Walia. Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Beckley, Matt Mitcham, Nicky Mitcham, Nathan Palmer, Ashley Poole and Jared Richardson. Honorary pallbearers include Mike Scott and Lee Townsend.
