Obituary of Henry Dewayne Beckley

Henry Dewayne Beckley was born on June 23, 1971 in Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, William "Beaver" Beckley and Cathy Parkerson Beckley, and passed from this life on February 2, 2021 in Grayson, LA. Dewayne worked as a barge engineer in the oilfield for many years. He loved spending time with his friends and family. His children and his grandchildren were the light of his life. He loved watching football, especially the LSU Tigers and Caldwell Spartans. Floating the Buffalo River and vacations with his closest friends was something he looked forward to every year. Most of all, he loved watching Bear play softball ever chance he got. Dewayne had a heart of gold and a laugh that could fill a room. He will be truly missed by his friends and family. Dewayne was preceded in death by his dad, William "Beaver" Beckley and his father-in law, Noel Guerrero "Boss". Dewayne is survived by his wife, Shana Beckley and children: Hunter Beckley, Hogan Beckley (Brooke), Hollin Beckley, and Hannah Claire Beckley; grandchildren: Carson, Della, and Parker; his mother, Cathy Beckley; brothers: Steve Beckley (Julie), Harold Beckley, and Darren Beckley; mother-in law, Linda Guerrero; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, and family. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Crossroads Baptist Church in Grayson, LA with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Crossroads Baptist Church from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will be at Welcome Home Cemetery Grayson, LA under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
