Prayers to all of Tom's family. Tom's Dad & my Dad both worked for Arkla Gas & we were neighbors in the Arkla Village in Sterlington. Tom was in the class of 65 @ SHS & I was class of 67. My first motorcycle was a Simplex my Dad bought from Mr Warren Gay. A lot of good memories from those days.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We shared many good times as youth, particularly through the Boy Scouts. Our paths diverged for quite a few years but we reconnected in later life. Even though our paths crossed infrequently, Tom was always there with a smile and a good memory. Prayers for his family.

I’m really gonna miss this guy. We were friends for 40 years and he never failed to make me laugh and laugh hard! The stories he told about his adventures with Doc Cummings. He was a good radio man and honest as the day is long. He’d get bored and call me and we’d spend hours telling lies and stories about our younger radio days. But it was more than friendship..I admired Tom and all he did. His love of family was never in doubt. There is so much more I could say about Tom. He was my friend. I’m really gonna miss this guy.

Tom was truly the essesence of a "southern gentleman". He was kind, compassionate, caring and I am thankful I could call him a friend.

I had the distinct pleasure of teaching Tom Public Speaking (and I’m sure he made an “A”). I loved his deep, mellow voice and followed his progress through his R/TV courses as well as his later career in radio. He was a very talented young man and grew up true to his early promise.
