Obituary of Frances Louise Enterkin

Funeral services for Frances Enterkin, age 82 of Olla, will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Standard Baptist Church, Olla, LA with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow at Olla Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Olla. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 5 PM until 8 PM. Frances Louise Enterkin was born at Rochelle, LA on March 21, 1938 to the union of her parents, Odis Homer Nugent and Lessie Bell Long Nugent, and she passed from this life on February 19, 2021 at Rapides Regional Hospital, Alexandria, LA. Mrs. Enterkin was a dedicated member of Clarks Baptist Church. She loved her church family and they loved her. She cherished her time with her many friends there. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Rev. J. D. Enterkin, and their infant son. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Lori Douglas (Randy) of Olla, LA and Debi Martin (Brad) of Vicksburg, MS; grandchildren: Michael Walton (Reba), Kade Bradford, Kaitlyn Baker, Hunter Martin, Coley Martin, Gage Martin, and Annslee Martin; great-grandchildren: Tyson, Kaylee, River, Zoey, Mason and Baylor. Serving as pallbearers will be Jack McKeithen, Robert McKeithen, Isaac McKeithen, Aaron Johnson, Josh Thacker, and Matt Nugent. Honorary pallbearer will be Steven McKeithen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Clarks Baptist Church, PO Box 357, Clarks, LA 71415.
