Obituary of Manuela Guerrero
Funeral services for Mrs. Manuela Salinas Guerrero, age 95 of Columbia, will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 3, 2011 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. James McMurray officiating. Interment will follow at Columbia Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. Guerrero was born on January 18, 1916 to the union of Genaro and Aurora Salinas and passed from this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Bico Guerrero, five brothers and one sister. Survivors include her son; Albert Guerrero and wife, Valonia, three daughters: Beatrice Ferrington and husband, Wayne, Natalie Ferrington and husband, R.C. and Manuella "Millie" Dickens and husband, Bill, grandchildren: Cheryl and Daniel Boone, Dana Goff, Ronnie Guerrero, Todd Guerrero and wife, Ivania, Rhonda Powell and husband, Richard, Dennis Ferrington, Connie Atkins, Debra Parker, Michael Ferrington, William and Amy Dickens, Chris and Ashley Dickens, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and four sisters. Pallbearers will be William Dickens, Chris Dickens, Michael Ferrington, Dennis Ferrington, Charlie Powell and Dustin Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Art Guerrero, James Talbert, Martin Guerrero, Jr., Justin Goff and Jeremy Escalon. The family wants to express their thanks to Agape Hospice Group, Margaret Butler, RN and to Mary Guerrero, her caregiver.
