Obituary of Louis Troy Fletcher

Funeral services for Louis Troy Fletcher, age 68 of Kelly, will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 25, 2013 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Pastor Dorothy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks, LA. Visitation will be Thursday evening at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia from 5 PM to 7 PM. Troy was born on March 31, 1944 to the union of Lineous "L.T." Fletcher and Beatrice Peppenhorst Fletcher and passed from this life on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was a member of Grayson United Methodist Church and had a talent for painting. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his two brothers: Greg Fletcher and wife, Nawasa of Haughton, LA and Stan Fletcher and wife, Virginia of Shreveport, LA; four nephews: Scott Fletcher and wife, Cassandra, Kacey Fletcher, Kai Fletcher and Wesley Fletcher and wife, Megan; three nieces: Melissa Berry and husband, Shane, Melanie Connor and husband, Dr. Pat and Stephanie Fletcher and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Scott Fletcher, Shane Berry, David Cummings, Kacey Fletcher, Kai Fletcher, and Jack Cummings. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wesley Fletcher and John Cummings.
