Obituary of Carolyn Steen

Graveside services for Mrs. Carolyn Marie Phelps Steen, age 63 of Olla, will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Chickasaw Cemetery in Olla with Speaker Shannon Lemons officiating. Mrs. Steen was born in Poplarville, MS on November 17, 1947 and passed from this life on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at her residence. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Olla. She was preceded in death by her father; Decar Phelps and her brother; Monroe Phelps. Survivors include her husband; Herbert W. Steen of Olla, mother; Zelpha Crawford of Jena, son; Delbert Wayne Steen and wife, Felicia of Grayson, daughter; Jessica Nicole Hensley and husband, Aaron of CO, brother; Ray Phelps and wife, Betty of Rhinehart, ten grandchildren: Jill Phelps, Angela Phelps, Jesse Phelps, Breann Phelps, Derek Steen, Misty Steen, Carolyn Steen, Sara Hensley, Rebecca Hensley and Zoey Hensley and two great-grandchildren: Miracle Green and Cheyann Steen.
