Obituary of Obie Bonita Haddox

Funeral services for Obie Bonita Haddox, 84, of Columbia, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Fellowship Baptist Church west of Columbia with Bro. Brian Rankin and Bro. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Obie was born January 29, 1929 to Riley and Willie Bayles Fisher in Columbia and she passed from this life on March 9, 2013 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and she love to quilt. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Johnnie Haddox of Columbia; son: Johnny Dwayne Haddox and his wife Phyllis of Downsville; two daughters: Rhonda Richmond and her husband Jimmy of Columbia; Belinda Benson and her husband Andy of Clarks; sister: Oni Onita Lively; grandchildren: Amanda Richmond Harrelson and her husband Ricky, Jeffrey Haddox, Amy Richmond Toney and her husband Jason, Nancy Benson Wyles and her husband Sloan, Stacy Haddox Pepper and her husband Justin, Thomas Benson and his wife Lauren; great-grandchildren: Hannah, Jesse, Lexi, Thade, Collin, and Olivia. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Haddox, Thomas Benson, Rick Harrelson, Justin Pepper, Jason Toney, and Sloan Wyles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jesse Richmond, Thade Haddox, Collin Wyles, Randy Hatten, Kevin Carr, Jimmy Richmond, and Andy Benson.
