Obituary of Johnny Brown

Funeral services for Johnny W. Brown age 64 of Columbia will be held 2 pm Saturday May 25, 2013 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Turnley and Rev. Pamela Roy officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebert Cemetery at Hebert,LA.Visitation for Friday will be from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home. Visitation for Saturday will be from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home. Johnny Wayne Brown was born on August 16, 1948 to the union of his parents, John Matthew Brown and L A (Nance) Brown ,and passed from this life on Thursday May 23, 2013 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. Johnny was a member of the Hebert United Methodist Church and was a retired electrician with Exxon Offshore Drilling. Johnny served presently on the Board for the Council On Aging and the Hebert Water System Board. Johnny loved his horses as they were a great enjoyment to him. Johnny loved life and lived it to the absolute fullest. He was loved by all and will truly be missed and never forgotten. Survivors include one brother: Roger Brown and fiancee Heidi Bryant of Columbia; two sisters: Mary and Larry Humphries of Kelly, and Linda and Mickey Lott of Columbia. Pallbearers include Tommy Brown, Brannon Brown, Derek Brown, Michael Lott, Kristopher Adams, and Kody Brooks.
