Obituary of Sr. Neathery

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Jimmie Lee Neathery, Sr. age 65 of Clarks will be held 10am Tuesday April 5, 2011 at the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson with Bro. Lavelle Hatten officiating. Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 4 to 9pm at the Riser Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia. Jimmie Lee Neathery, Sr was born on August 4, 1945 at Winnsboro, LA to the union of Leon Faulkner Neathery and Willie Mae Pippins Neathery. He passed from this life on Friday April 1, 2011 at his residence with his loving wife and family by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Howard, Glenn, and Chester. He was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Survivors include: His wife: Patsy Hatten Neathery of Clarks. His son: Jimmie Neathery, Jr. of Grayson. Two daughters: Tina Wright and husband Ronnie, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Karen Clarks and her husband Jeremy of Salem, Oregon. Three step Children: Scotty Ray Fitzgerald of Columbia, Tracy Fitzgerald Bruce and husband Robbie of Clarks, and Charlie Tom McKee and his wife Christina, of Medina, Ohio. Three sisters: Mrs. Margie Morrison, Mrs. Lucille Duffy, and Mrs. Sue Neathery, all of Monroe. His grandchildren: Amber Neathery, Josh Neathery, Anna Jardine, Andrew Jardine, James Neathery, Abigail Neathery, Erica Neathery, Adam Bruce, and Anthony Bruce. His step-grandchildren: Terry Barlow, Tiffany Fowler, Tyler Cupples, Amity Bruce, Tyral Fitzgerald, Malarie McKee, Landon McKee, Lee Wright, Chris Wright, and Stephen Wright, and a host of great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be: Caleb Chambless, Huey Neathery, Lorrel Graham, Clint Hatten, Jimmy Ray Busby, and Tyral Fitzgerald. Willard Richmond and Lou Percel, his best friends will serve as honorary pallbearers.
