Obituary of E. Harris

Funeral services for Mrs. E. Marie Harris age 84 of Olla will be held 2 pm Monday July 8, 2013 from the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, Olla with the Rev. Johnny Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Visitation will be at the church on Sunday from 6 pm until 8 pm and on Monday from 10 am until time of service. Estelle Marie Harris was born on March 7, 1929 at Wink, Texas to the union of her parents, Roland Edward Harris and Irene D. (Collier) Harris. She passed from this life on Saturday July 6, 2013 at her residence in Olla following an extended illness. Mrs. Harris was an active member of First Baptist Church, Olla, and was a retired merchant, having owned and operated the United Dollar Stores in Olla and Jena. She was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory, her husband: Vernon"Buddy" Harris of Olla; her daughter, Vicki Rawski of Clinton, Illinois; her son, Dennis Harris and wife Suzanne of Olla; her brother, Edward Harris of Olla; four grandchildren, Nick Harris of Olla, Summer Brown of Jena, Rochelle Moore and husband Stephen of Clinton, IL; Brandon Rawski and wife Katrina of Spring Valley, California; two great-grandchildren, Matthew Moore of Clinton, IL and Kealie Brown of Jena. Pallbearers will be Nick Harris, Mark Lindoff, Smith Hopkins, Stephen Moore, Brandon Rawski, Nathan Lindoff, Alvis Randall, and Chris Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Delmar Gilliam and Bobby McCartney. In lieu of flowers any planned memorials should be made to the First Baptist Church of Olla Building Fund.
