Obituary of Oine Taylor

Funeral services for Oine Taylor, 98 of Clarks, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Ed Smith officiating. Reggie McDaniel will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at sundown at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks. Oine was born October 24, 1914 to Alva and Effie Mabry Reitzell in Clarks and she passed from this life on August 12, 2013 at her residence in Clarks. She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Clarks. She worked at S & Q in Columbia for 35 years. She loved to shop, cook, and eat. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde Taylor; son: Wilbur Taylor; daughter: Betty Pardue; her parents; two brothers: Dick Reitzell and Wallace Ray Reitzell; sister: Edna Benson; grandson: Ed James; great-grandson: Adam Volentine; She is survived by two sons: Bill Taylor and his wife Mary of Clarks; Charles Taylor and his wife Pat of Castor Swamp; daughter: Ethel James and her husband Buddy of Columbia; grandchildren: Cindy Cook, Vicky Denison, Bobby Pardue, Jenea Clark, Robin Barnette, Bo Russell, Michelle McDaniel, Debra Hammett, Robbie Taylor, and John Taylor; 23 great-grandchildren; 40 great-great grandchildren; son-in-law: Bob Pardue: daughter-in-law: Frances Taylor; her caregivers: Ruth Doffitt, Norma Sharp, Georgia Watson, Ann Fitzgerald, Lindsey Barnett, and Robin Barnette. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Bobby Pardue, Bo Russell, Robbie Taylor, John Taylor, Eddie James, and Lee Scribner.
