Obituary of Sr. Lawrence

Memorial services for Larry Wayne Lawrence, Sr., age 62, of Olla will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 7, 2013 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Larry was born May 3, 1951 in Arkansas and he passed from this life on October 1, 2013 at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. He was a construction worker who loved to remodel homes. He did a lot of work to help the elderly, such as building ramps and making homes handicapped accessible. If you needed it, he would give you the shirt off his back. He served his country in the Army. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son: Larry Lawrence, Jr.; sister: Anna Minks; special friends: Sheila Temple and Bill Exline.
