Obituary of Mildred Pittman

Riser Funeral Home Columbia, LA 71418 Mildred Lillie Richardson Pittman 92 of Clarks, LA " She looketh well to the ways of her household and eateth not the bread of idleness." Proverbs 31:27 Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday April 17, 2011 from the Columbia Chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Catahoula Cemetery at Enterprise. Visitation will be on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of service at the funeral home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia. Mildred was born June 18, 1918 in Catahoula Parish to the union of Gladys Stutson Richardson and Jack Webb Richardson. Mildred married Charles Ernest Pittman November 16, 1935. Mildred served for all her family and household. She enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables. She loved the Lord, her family and hard work. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, and her beloved son Charles E. "Buck" Pittman,Jr. Survivors include: Her daughter: Carole Pittman Meyers and husband Darrell of Farmerville; Her son: H. W. "Winkie" Pittman and wife Carolyn of Princeton; Her daughter: Jackie Eileen Pittman Auttonberry and husband Esley "Bo" of Kelly; and her daughter by heart: Lennie Williams and husband Taylor "Bubba" of West Monroe. Her grandchildren: Mike, David, and Mark Meyers, Paul, Bradley, and Angela Pittman, Thad and Todd Pittman, Amy Hunter, Julie Roddie, Toby Auttonberry, Jenny Hanes, and grand daughter by heart Mandy Nelson. She also leaves twelve great grandchildren. Pallbearers include: Mike Meyers, David Meyers, Toby Auttonberry, Paul Pittman, Bradley Pittman, and Dan Hanes.
