Obituary of Anita Louise Slay Colvin

Funeral services for Anita Louise Slay Colvin, age 77, of Benton, will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 7, 2013 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla. Interment will follow at the Olla Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Anita was born December 28, 1935 to Walter and Myrtle Slay in Standard and she passed from this life on December 2, 2013 at her residence in Benton. She had a long career in the Government as a Civil Service worker. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clark Colvin, Sr.; son: Clark Colvin, Jr.; her parents; two brothers: Harold Slay and Kenneth Slay; She is survived by two sons: Steve Colvin of Benton; Wade Colvin and his wife Janna of Amarillo, TX; six grandchildren: Buster Alexander, Sunny Alexander, Michelle Landes, Brandon Colvin, Rebecca Allen, and Catie Colvin; eight great-grandchildren: Taytum Kacey Alexander, Brooklyn Kruz Alexander, Sampson Ray Landes, Silas Warren Stephens, James Clarke Colvin, Myra Annabelle Colvin, Addie Ila-Marie Allen, Jameson Clark Allen.
