Obituary of Jr. Oliveaux

Funeral services for Fred "Buddy" Oliveaux, Jr., age 78, of Hebert, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2013 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Roy Lowery and Rev. Christy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Woolen Lake Cemetery in Hebert. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. Buddy was born August 9, 1935 to Fred Oliver, Sr. and Bernice Garner Oliveaux in Hebert and he passed from this life on December 12, 2013 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He retired from the parish as a road grader operator. He attended Hebert Full Gospel Church and he loved gardening. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son: James Oliveaux; four daughters: Gladys Wambuten, Angela Costilla, Glenda Cobb, and Wanda Salazar; sister: Lethey Wheeler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Oliveaux, II, Matthew Cobb, Eddie Barrera, Dave Cobb, Donald Oliveaux, Caleb Lowery, and Lance Fife.
