Obituary of Judy Maxwell

Funeral services for Judy Weed Maxwell, age 62 of Hebert, will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 26, 2014 from the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church, Hebert, LA with Bro. Brian Rankin officiating, Bro. Don Wright delivering the eulogy and Bro. Ed Smith providing graveside services. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert from 5 PM to 9 PM. Mrs. Maxwell was born on March 31, 1951 in Rayville, LA to the union of Earlbert and Dora Fife Weed and passed from this life on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Her spirit and memories will live on in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Allen Maxwell of Hebert; two daughters: Nikki Clark and husband, Coty of Hebert and Christy Carr and husband, Peanut of Columbia; brother, Bo Pete Weed and wife, Diane of Hebert; sisters-in-law: Dot Howard of Columbia and Dannie Richardson of Hebert; brother-in-law, Louis Rogers and wife, Gladys of Monroe; grandchildren: Jeremiah Clark, Luke Clark, Brooklyn Carr, Ethan Carr, Kerry Paul Franklin and Katie Franklin; special co-worker, Mel Stamper and numerous other friends. Pallbearers will be Tyron Beckley, Shannon Franklin, Kerry Paul Franklin, Todd Maxwell, Billy Jones, Sr. and Billy Jones, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Washam, Bennie Washam and Deron Washam. Any planned memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church or the Gideons.
