Obituary of Jack Harvey

Funeral services for Jack Leslie Harvey Age 52 of Hebert will be held 10Am Monday June 30, 2008 from the Columbia Chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery at Hebert. Jack Leslie Harvey was born on February 4, 1956 at Amarillo , Texas to Jack and Faye (Shipp) Harvey. He passed from this life on Friday June 27, 2008 at his residence following a brief illness. Leslie was a very kind and giving individual. He had been a Driller for Santa Fe Oil and Gas Company and had also farmed a lot of years in the Columbia area. He was a 1974 Graduate of Caldwell Parish High School. Survivors include his father & mother Jack and Faye (Shipp) Harvey. Son- Brandon Harvey & companion Paula Hardwick of Nashville, Tn. Two daughters-Brandy Harvey & companion Jeff Culpepper of West Monroe and Melissa Harvey & companion Mark Miley of Monroe. His sister-Cindy Mullenix and husband Dennis of Hebert. Brother- Marty Harvey and wife Melissa of Hebert. His granddaughter Madison Hern. Also Leslie's special friend Doris"Big Mamma" Bradley of Monroe. Pallbearers include Danny Emmons, Brenda Brasington, Darrin Shipp, Rod Shipp, Heath Mott, and Larry Mullenix. Honorary pallbearers will be Luther Nowland Howard, Louis Mullenix, Donald Weed, Kenny Womack, David Walters, and Pete Lively. The Harvey family will receive visitors on Sunday June 29, 2008 from 4PM to 9PM at the Riser Funeral Homes Columbia Location, 7131 U S Hwy 165 South.
