Obituary of Joe Bill Pine

Visitation for Joe Bill Pine, age 71, of Grayson will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. There will be a private service for the family at a later time. Joe Bill was born October 1, 1942 to James and Bennie Pine in Milan, TN and he passed from this life on February 9, 2014 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He was retired from Occidental Petroleum Corporation after twenty years having worked as a construction manager. He loved fishing, playing pool, and loved being in the outdoors. His grandaughter, Summer Pine, was the light of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Sam David Pine. He is survived by his wife of 49 years: JoAnne Pine of Grayson; two sons: Stewart Shannon Pine of Covington; Tobin Pine of Grayson; sister: Ginger Pine of Covington; grandchild: Shannon Summer Pine; mother-in-law: Tommie Parker; former daughter-in-law: Tracy Ledbetter. Pallbearers will be Stewart Shannon Pine, Tobin Pine, Bob Harrison, Carl Hickman, Tommy Parker, Ed Malcolmb, and Billy Joe May.
