Obituary of Patrick McNemar

Funeral services for Patrick H. McNemar, age 44, of Columbia will be held 2:00 pm Friday February 28, 2014 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Harriman officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Visitation will be on Thursday evening February 27, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Patrick was born on April 9, 1969 at Columbia, LA to the union of his parents, Billy McNemar and Lillie Nell Scroggs McNemar; and passed from this life on February 24, 2014 at the Chabert Medical Center in Houma following a brief illness. Patrick was a loving husband, father, son, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was employed as a supervisor with Bis Salamis Offshore Drilling for the past thirteen years, and was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. Patrick was a graduate of Caldwell Parish High School and was a standout pitcher for the Spartan Baseball Team. He was loved by all who knew him, and will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Left to cherish his memory: His beloved wife, Terrie H. McNemar of Columbia; his beloved children: Aidan, Jesse, Willace, Stephanie, and Erin; all of Columbia; his sister: Sissy Collins and a niece Harleigh Warren and a nephew Cade Collins; also numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Pallbearers include: Chuck Martin, Donnie May, Jerry Duff, Troy McNemar, Eddie Scroggs, and Nick McNemar.
