Obituary of Sr. Tucker

Funeral services for Harrell Raymond Tucker, Sr., age 83 of Columbia, will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 1, 2014 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2014 at Riser Funeral Home from 5 PM to 9 PM. Mr. Tucker was born on September 16, 1930 in Shreveport, LA to the union of Holley Benard and Opal Morgan Tucker and passed to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Haven Nursing Center in Columbia, LA. He served in the US Marine Corps and worked in the architecture and design industry his entire life before retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Emma Jo Tucker; daughter-in-law, Laura Tucker and grandson, Caleb Tucker. Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Dan Tucker and wife, Linda of Mansfield, TX; sons: Harrell "Bubba" Tucker, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Rosefield, Gary Tucker and wife, Sandy of Columbia and Kevin Tucker of Portland, OR; daughter, Lisa Jacks and husband, Jeffery of Columbia; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his sons and grandsons.
