Obituary of Sr. Reed

Danny Reed, Sr., 62 of Columbia, LA was born June 9, 1951 to the union of Catherine and Perry Reed, and went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2014 following a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Nell Sypert Reed, son, Yancy Reed, brother Tommy Reed and sister Diana Lewis. Left to cherish his memory is the joy of his life, grandson Jase Zachary of Columbia, son Danny Reed Jr. and wife Megan,three daughters, Nettie Reed, Jodie Zachary, and Jacki Coates, son-in-law Jason Zachary. His beloved grandchildren: Zachary, Dylan, Deanna, Nick, Quinton, Madilyn, Kelsea, Kimberly, Payton, Lauren and Morgan; great grandchildren: Derrick, Tanna, Kenlee, and Karlee; brother: Jerry Reed; sister-in-law: Belinda Gail Rice; brothers-in-law: Ricky Sypert, James Rice and C.J. Bernard. Danny was a good and caring person. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and helping others. A celebration of Danny's life will be held on Saturday, March 8th from 1-4 at 241 Sypert Circle, Columbia.
