Obituary of Peggy Puskas

Services for Mrs. Peggy Ledbetter Smith Puskas, age 81 of Grayson will be 10 AM Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Hudson and Bro. Floyd Duchesne officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be 5 PM to 9 PM Monday, July 21, 2008, at Riser Funeral Home and again Tuesday morning at 8 AM until time of service. Mrs. Peggy Puskas was born on September 9, 1926 to the union of Milton Andrew and Annie Adelia Brown Ledbetter and passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at St. Francis Specialty Hospital in Monroe. Mrs. Puskas was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 23 years, Clyde Ira Smith and her sister, Jeanette Maskulka. Survivors include her three sons; Gary W. Smith of Grayson, James Smith of Houma and Stanley Smith and his wife, Charlotte of Grayson, her daughter; Brenda Durocher of Grayson, her brother; Klien Ledbetter of Columbia, her four grandchildren; Brandon Durocher, Zachary Durocher, Kristy Smith and Jennifer Norrell, and her six great grandchildren; Noelle May, Marcus Wayne Norrell, Jr., Jacob Norrell, Lily Smith, Rose Smith and Zara Durocher. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Smith, Marcus Norrell, Terry Nugent, Ronnie Ledbetter, Dennis Ledbetter and Marcus Wayne Norrell, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Herman Wyles.
