Obituary of Glenn Kelly

Services for Glenn Reginold Kelly, age 50 of Jonesboro will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. LaVurl Shell officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery west of Clarks. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia. Mr. Kelly was born on June 1, 1958 in Bremerton, Washington to the union of Robert Richard and Shirley Reed Kelly and died Sunday, July 27,2008 at his residence. He was a retired drilling superintendent and oilfield consultant. He was preceded in death by his son: Timothy Kelly, his brother: Zendal Ray Kelly and his sister: Delores McGee. Survivors include his father: Robert "Bob" Kelly of Pollock, his mother and step-father: Shirley and Paul Stiles of Robeline, his son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth and Dixie Kelly of Grayson, his son: Alan Kelly of Grayson, his sister: Necy Bennett of Robeline and his granddaughter: Sara Kelly of Grayson. Pallbearers are Timmy Allen, Clifton Bennett, Jarrod Bennett, John Slaughter, Will Johnson, William Whitman,Brad Bennett, and Paul Stiles.
