Riser Funeral Home Columbia, LA Obituary: Marty Joel Cox Services for Marty Joel Cox, age 49 of Grayson will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 16,2008 from the Clarks United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Wesley Manning and Rev. Stacy Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Adams Cemetery west of Kelly. Visitation will be Friday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Clarks United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Cox was born on April 7, 1959 in Pineville and died Thursday, August 14,2008 at the LSU Medical Center in Monroe. He was employed as a sawmill laborer. He was preceded in death by his twins: Joey and Joel Cox, her father: Willie F. Cox and his brothers-in-law: Dan Stamper and Trebla Arnold. Survivors include his mother: Vermell Cupples Cox of Grayson, his brothers: Bill Cox of Grayson, Paul Cox and his wife: Betty Kay of Columbia, Terry Cox and his wife: Connie of Grayson and Timmy Cox and his wife: Cherie of Clarks, his sisters: Rhonda Stapleton and her husband: Chester of Kelly and Jan Stamper of Grayson and his step-daughter: Ashley Tucker of Columbia. Pallbearers will be Josh Stapleton, Michael Tucker, Jessie Cox, Madison Green, Jason Stamper, Cliff Stamper and Tim Cox. Chester Stapleton is an honorary.
