Obituary of Cleora Pinkerton

Graveside funeral services for Cleora Lea Ray Pinkerton, age 78 of Columbia will be held 2:00 PM Sunday August 3, 2014 at the Fellowship Cemetery, west of Columbia, under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Pinkerton was born on July 31, 1936 in Caldwell Parish to the union of her parents Cleo D. Ray and Nora E. Byrd Ray. She passed from this life on Saturday August 2, 2014 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Witherington and by her parents. Cleora was an avid fisherman and she loved and respected animals of all types. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed. Left to cherish her memory her son: Danny Lee Witherington of Columbia; one granddaughter: Holly Jane Witherington of New Orleans and one brother: Ronnie Ray of West Monroe.
